What is Flucie?
Flucie is an AI learning guide for children aged 3 to 11, in pre-launch. It helps kids learn through what they see, hear, read and do, with English, Hindi and Telugu support, using a camera for Point & Learn, read-aloud tracking, and a guided tutor.
Is Flucie safe for my child to use alone?
Flucie is built as guided practice, not an unsupervised companion. There’s no chat with strangers, and no claim to be your child’s friend. We’d still recommend the same light supervision you'd give any learning app, especially at first.
What age is Flucie designed for?
Ages 3 to 11. The reading level, vocabulary, and tutoring style are meant to adapt as a child grows, from Point & Learn basics up to guided homework help.
Does Flucie store my child's photos or voice recordings?
No. Object recognition and worksheet scanning run on the device, and photos aren't uploaded or stored. Tutoring is the exception: a typed or transcribed question is sent as text to a language model to get an answer.
Will my child see ads or be asked to buy anything?
Flucie’s free plan is expected to include ads; a paid Premium plan removes them. Either way, no one asks your child to buy anything, and Flucie Coins are earned through learning, never purchased.
Can I see what my child is doing on Flucie?
Yes, the Parents' View shows activity, totals, coin balance, and streak, without turning it into a surveillance tool or a homework log.
What if we don't have reliable internet at home?
Point & Learn is designed to keep working with no signal, since the camera-to-word path runs on the device. Tutoring needs a connection, since that's the one feature that talks to a language model.
